Description

The building complex for the Treasury Ministry in Rome was built during the mid 1990s in reply to town planning directives which envisaged the decentralisation of public offices towards office blocks located in the eastern and southern areas of Rome. It comprises 8 six-floor buildings occupying an area of 292,500m³ (107,000m³ of underground space) organised to form an arch so as to blend in with the surrounding buildings characterised by this type of layout. The total covered area measures 81,000m², 30,000m² of which are below ground level.
