The Customer is RFI, and the works will be performed by Astaldi (with a 34.226% share), in a joint venture with Salini Impregilo (51.308%), SIFEL (7.327%) and CLF (7.139%). In line with common practice, the contract is expected to be signed after verification of the prerequisites for taking part in the tender.
The new infrastructure will upgrade Sicily’s links, connecting it to the European TEN-T Corridors system.
