Description
The project involved construction of a gravity dam in RCC measuring tall and with a volume of 600,000 m3.
Specifically, the works comprised a main spillway (capacity of 3,530 m3/sec), a rectangular bottom outlet (3.2 x 4.9m, capacity of 410 m3/sec), an intake tower for drinking water (capacity of 1 m3/sec), an intake structure for irrigation (capacity of 50 m3/sec), a rectangular reinforced concrete diversion tunnel (4.5 x 6.1m, length 94m) and hydro-electromechanical systems.
