Description
The Rome-Naples high speed railway is one of the most modern railway lines in Europe: trains travel at 300km/h and are constantly monitored along the 202km-route using the advanced ERTMS/ETCS Level 2, which transmits information to drivers regarding the maximum speeds allowed and distances to be maintained with regard to trains in front.
A system applied for the first time at a European level and which is just one of the advanced technologies used by Astaldi and its partners for the construction of this railway line.
