Description
BOT Concession contract for design, build and operation of the Gebze-Orhangazi-Izmir Motorway, for a total of over 400km, including 40km of junctions and a landmark cable-stayed bridge of about 3km for crossing Izmit Bay (central span of 1,700m).
The contract also includes 152 million c.m. about of earthmoving, 30 viaducts and two bridges (for a total of 39.2km equal to 1.4 millions of s.m. of structures), tunnel at double ways (working face 124 s.m.), 7 service and parking areas.
Phase1, referred to the first 55kms, including the bridge over the Izmit Bay, is under construction.

Investment: EUR 1.7 billion, of which EUR 314 million as Astaldi's share.
Concession revenues: EUR 8.5 billion, of which EUR 1.6 billion as Astaldi's share.
Operation start date: last quarter of 2016.
Phase 2: to be financed.
Operation start date: last quarter of 2020.
Concession period: 22 years and 4 months, including 7 years for construction.
Minimum guaranteed: 52% of aggregate projected revenue.
