ZAKOPIANKA TUNNEL, BORING OF LAST DIAPHRAGM OF NORTH TUNNEL

Excavation of the first of the two tunnels comprising the Zakopianka Tunnel was completed today. This is Poland’s longest road tunnel bored using ADECO RS and traditional excavation methods. The site forms part of the project to construct the Naprawa-Skomielna Biała section of the S-7 Krakow-Rabka Zdrój Expressway.

Poland’s Ministry of Infrastructures, Andrzej Adamczyk, also attended the ceremony for the boring of the last diaphragm.
